Red granite standing figure of a king. Eighteenth Dynasty, about 1450 BC From Thebes, Temple of Karnak The statue can be dated on Stylistic grounds to the middle of the Eighteenth Dynasty and represents either Thutmoses II or his successor Amenophis II wear the white crown of Upper Egypt.
