Presentation of booklet by Mr H.E.F. Hall, Chairman, National Savings Committee to Dr Conal Hooper, Director of Organisation, Catholic Boy Scouts of Ireland. 5000 copies of the booklet were presented at the National Savings Committee Headquarters in Dublin, to commemorate the C.B.S.I. 40th Anniversary National Camp at Lismore castle, Co. Waterford and as a gesture of appreciation of the work of Scouting Organisations in promoting thrift. The booklet consisted of a series of folders dealing with different trees in Ireland (first series covered 6 trees).
Picture shows Mr Hall (centre) presenting the booklet to Dr Hooper with A.P.L. Sean Flanagan, 7th Dublin (St. Mary's) Troop on left.
