Former Taoiseach Charles Haughey, Noel Coade, Director, National Concert Hall Committee, and Maureen Haughey at the State opening of the National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin. The venue was officially opened by President Patrick Hillery, followed by the premier concert featuring the Radio Telefís Éireann Symphony Orchestra with a large cast of soloists, choirs and the RTÉSO leader Audrey Park, conducted by RTÉ’s Principal Conductor Colman Pearce.
