Presentation of Esso Perpetual Trophy to the Listowel Drama Group at the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin. The trophy and replicas for the All Ireland Amateur Dram festival were presented by Mr. T.F. Laurie, Chairman and Managing Director of Esso Petroleum Co. (Ireland) Ltd. at a special luncheon. The Listowel group won the competition with their performance of the 3 Act play "Sive" by John B.
