Historic Wedding Bells For Disabled Couple, (N81)..1981..20.06.1981..06.20.1981..20th June 1981..Happy wedding bells chimed today for the first disabled couple in residential care to marry in the Republic of Ireland. The happy couple are Marie Skully and Pat Linehan and they were married in a special ceremony in The Cara Cheshire Home in the Phoenix Park. Both Marie and Pat are confined to wheelchairs because of their disabilities. After honeymoon, they will make their home in specially adapted quarters within the Cheshire residence..A kiss for the blushing bride, Pat is pictured kissing Marie after the wedding ceremony.`Happy bridesmaids and groomsmen complete the picture..If you know the names of the priest and family members why not let us know and we will add them to the caption.
