The march to Dail Éireann was to highlight the inequities in wages,taxes etc carried by the working classes in Ireland. The May Day protest in Dublin was mirrored across Europe..Image shows the Dublin Council of Trade Unions leading the march from Parnell Square down through O'Connell Street on their way to Government Buildings.
