A new uniform for Aer Lingus Hostesses was introduced at Dublin Airport. .The new uniform, designed by Irene Gilbert, consists of a two-piece suit in ivy-green lightweight tweed, a matching top-coat in a heavier tweed, a shower-proof coat with a matching head-piece and a forage style hat. The skirt is approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches above the knee.
