The aftermath of a disastrous fire at Loreto Convent, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin, which claimed the lives of six elderly nuns. The nuns, retired teachers at the school attached to the convent, were named as sisters Edith, Eucharia, Seraphia, Margaret, Rosario and Gonzaga.
