Golf scheme for students at John Jacobs Golf Centre, Foxrock, Dublin. The scheme, organised by the Golf Foundation, was planned to enable young people to learn golf under expert tuition. It was inaugurated when 24 pupils of Terenure College were supervised and coached by Jimmy Kinsella- the Castle Golf Club professional. Picture shows: Jimmy Kinsella (with club) who coached the students at the putting green. Also included with the students are Dr Gerry Owens, representative in Ireland for the Golf Foundation; Mr Liam Howley, Junior Golf Representative of the Golfing Union of Ireland and Mr Gerry McGuinness, Vice President, Terenure College Union.
