B829 - 1961 Captain W.A. Ringrose returns from Rome.

Captain W.A. (Billy) Ringrose (third from right) and the other members of the Army Showjumping team arrive in Dublin Airport after the Captain won the Grand Prix de Roma on the 3rd of May. Captain Ringrose won the competition with the two horses "Loch an Easpaig" and "Cloyne". Captain Ringrose was also presented with a "Roman Wolf" trophy by Queen Elizabeth II, who was on a State visit to Italy, on the 5th May in congratulations on his victory.
