Women's Peace March In Dublin (K50)..1976..28.08.1976..08.28.1976..28th August 1976..As part of the Peace Movement, set up by Ms Betty Williams and Ms Mairead Maguire in Northern Ireland, a march was organised for Dublin. Thousands of women took part in the march from St Stephen's Green, Dublin to the seat of government in Leinster House on Merrion Square, Dublin, to protest the continuing violence within the country..Pictured, the Peace March forms up around Merrion Square,prior to the speeches advocating peace on our island are given.
