Thousands took part in the Women's Peace March, organised as part of the Peace Movement set up by Betty Williams and Mairead Maguire in Northern Ireland. The march went from St. Stephen's Green to Leinster House, to plead for peace and an end to the continuing violence in Northern Ireland.
