John Lighton Synge President of the Royal Irish Academy and Taoiseach Sean Lemass at the Opening of the O'Donovan -O'Curry Public exhibition of works at the R.I.A., Dawson Street Dublin. John O'Donovan and Eugene O'Curry were noted scholars of the Irish language in the 19t century and conducted extensive research for the Ordinance Survey Office on Irish place names.
