Women's Peace March In Dublin (K50)..1976..28.08.1976..08.28.1976..28th August 1976..As part of the Peace Movement, set up by Ms Betty Williams and Ms Mairead Maguire in Northern Ireland, a march was organised for Dublin. Thousands of women took part in the march from St Stephen's Green, Dublin to the seat of government in Leinster House on Merrion Square, Dublin, to protest the continuing violence within the country..Image shows a side march protesting against the death penalty which had been imposed on Noel and Marie Murray in relation to the shooting dead of Garda Michael Reynolds in Killester, a suburb in Dublin.
