Opening of new Sulphuric Acid Plant at Sulphac Ltd., East Wall, Dublin. Minister for Industry and Commerce, Mr Jack Lynch officially opened the plant. The plant was blessed by V. Rev. Fr. F. Hooke, Parish Priest St. Joseph's, East Wall. Sulphac Ltd. was jointly owned by W. and H.M. Goulding Ltd. and Freeport Sulpher Company of New York. Picture shows a general view of the plant at East Wall as Jack Lynch (2nd left) and the Directors of the company tour the site.
