Transatlantic Race - 'Creidne' Old Sailor .15/04/1976.04/15/1976.15th April 1976.The sail training vessel "Creidne" leaves Dun Laoghaire to participate in the transatlantic races of sail training vessels organised to coincide with the American Bicentennial Commemoration. ..Picture shows the "Creidne" casting off from Dun Laoghaire harbour. Originaly named Galcador, Creidne is a 48ft bermudan ketch built in Norway in 1967 as a private yacht.
