Popular film star Gregory Peck, and his wife, Veronique, arrive for a short holiday in Kerry. The actor’s paternal grandmother, Catherine Ashe, was related to Thomas Ashe, from Lispole, Co Kerry, who took part in the Easter Rising and died while on hunger strike in 1917.
