Marble statue of Antinous as deified priest. One of Hadrian's closest companions who was deified in many statues after his death, and for whom a cult formed in his name. This statue is from Cyreme in Libya. In it his head is covered with a piece of his robe, as he presides over a sacrifice in honour of the emperor.
