Limerick of an exhibition entitled "Modern Churches in Germany" took place at the Dublin Municipal Art Gallery on Sunday 21/01/1962. The exhibition, consisting of the architecture, stained glass and sacred vessels of modern German churches ran to the 21/02/1962. .Picture shows (L-R): Mr. Wilfred Cantwell, Vice-President of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland; Rt. Rev. Dom Joseph Dowdall, O.S.B., Lord Abbott of Glenstal Abbey, who opened the exhibition; Mr. James White, Curator of the Municipal Art gallery; Dr. Adolph Refferscheidt, German Ambassador to Ireland and Madame Reifferscheidt.
