The commentator was P D Mehigan better known as "Carbery". Carbery was on the 1902 London team that lost the 1902 hurling final to Cork. The photo shows John Walsh, Chairman of Thurles Grounds, Tom Semple (Thurles Blues), Phil O'Neill "Sliabh Rua" (Kilkenny Journal), P D Mehigan "Carbery". .bottom: The three Meagher brothers, Lory, Henry and Bill, were on the Kilkenny team in 1926.
