Start of Rás Tailteann.
(J58).1975. 07.06.1975. 06.07.1975. 7th June 1975 saw the start of The Rás Tailteann cycle race. The race, which covers 900 miles around Ireland, will conclude in Limerick on Thursday 12th June. A field of seventy seven riders are listed to take part. The actress, Siobhan McKenna, graciously agreed to be the offical starter of the race.
